Booking Confirmation
To make a booking you must be at least 18 years of age. A booking is confirmed only when almeriastay.com has issued a booking reference, a booking confirmation, and has received full payment. The booking confirmation will show the name and address of the accommodation you have booked. Please check all details carefully and notify us immediately of any discrepancies.

Prices and Payment
Prices are quoted in full including taxes and services charges at the time of booking. Full payment is required in £'s sterling at the time of booking. Almeriastay.com reserve the right to alter prices according to market conditions or currency fluctuations, but we guarantee that the price quoted on your booking confirmation will not change unless you make an amendment to the booking details. Payments for extras (such as mini bar charges, telephone bills, incidental charges or any extra nights) must be made directly to the hotel when you check out. You may be asked for an imprint of your credit or debit card by your hotel upon check-in, so please be sure to take it with you. When paying by credit or debit card you undertake that the credit or debit card is your own and there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the accommodation and any extras.

Cancellations
You can cancel your booking free of charge within 24 hours of making it, provided that the booking was made more than 7 days prior to your planned arrival date of the accommodation. Cancellations must be made in writing either by e-mail, fax or post by the either the lead passenger and/or the person who made the original booking and paid the deposit. The cancellation confirmation must contain the booking reference, your name and the accommodation name. Cancellations are effective from the time they are received by us.

6 days - 24 hours before arrival date: The charge for the first nights accommodation
Within 24 hours of arrival: The lesser of £50 plus the charge for the first nights accommodation or the full value of the booking.

No refunds will be given for stays that are ended earlier than planned. If your arrival date at your accommodation is delayed for any reason, Almeriastay.com should be advised at the earliest opportunity. If you do not advise us prior to the arrival date, then the entire booking will be cancelled, and you will be charged the lesser of £50 plus the charge for the first night's accommodation or the full value of the booking. If your arrival time is delayed, you should contact us so that we can advise the accommodation supplier. Many hotels or apartments only hold rooms until 4pm, unless they have been specifically advised of a later arrival, so you could lose the room that has been allocated to you.

Accommodation descriptions
Almeriastay.com takes every reasonable care to ensure that the information published about each hotel, villa or apartment is accurate. However as a booking agent, rather than an owner or operator of holiday accommodation, we cannot accept liability for errors or omissions in the descriptions. Facilities and amenities in accommodation may be temporarily unavailable for operational reasons. Where this happens we will do our best to advise as soon as possible. Maps showing the location of the accommodation are for guidance only.

Star ratings
Star ratings are used to symbolize the overall quality and level of standards of each hotel or apartment including the range and standard of facilities, the quality of the furnishings, the quality and range of food outlets, and the overall level of service. They range from 2 star, where you can expect simple accommodation with limited facilities, to 4 star accommodation which is likely to have a full range of facilities and good standards. Where available the official rating of each hotel or apartment is shown within the hotel descriptions.

Changes made by you
Most changes to a booking after the deposit has been paid will be subject to a £15 administration fee per amendment. If the change adds value to the booking (for example, an upgrade, additional rooms or nights) then no administration fee will be charged. Changes to a booking which involve either a reduction of the number of nights at the accommodation, or a reduction in the number of rooms booked, and that are advised to us 7 days or less before arrival will be treated as cancellations, and the charges outlined above will be made.

Changes made by us
Almeriastay.com does its utmost to avoid making changes to any bookings. In the unlikely event that we are notified by the proprietor of the hotel, apartment or villa that they cannot provide the accommodation booked, you can either cancel free of charge, and your payment will be refunded, or accept alternative accommodation of equivalent standard (if available). Where we are notified of changes we will contact you as soon as possible. No compensation is possible for such changes.

Complaints
If you are dissatisfied in any way with our booking service, please notify us in writing or by email as soon as possible quoting the booking number. If you are dissatisfied with the accommodation, you MUST advise the accommodation management directly, in order to give them the opportunity to rectify the problem. You may lose any right to compensation if they fail to do so. If the issue is not resolved to your satisfaction you should contact Almeriastay.com on 08708 55 00 00. We will act as an intermediary to try to resolve any complaint. In the unlikely event that we are unable to do so, and you wish to take matters further, you must do so directly with the accommodation concerned.

Accommodation
Accommodation can only be occupied by those persons named at the time of booking or subsequently advised. Should any damage be caused by you or any member of your party to the accommodation or its contents, you will be required to arrange immediate reimbursement before the end of your stay.

Our responsibility to you
Almeriastay.com acts as a booking agent only. Neither we nor the accommodation provider can accept responsibility for any injury, illness or death unless caused by our own or the accommodation provider's proven fault. Any claim for damages for injury, illness or death arising out of your stay in the accommodation must be brought against the proprietor of the accommodation concerned and not against Almeriastay.com. It will be subject to the law of the country in which the accommodation is situated. Neither we nor the accommodation provider can accept responsibility for any damage, loss, delay or inconvenience caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Such circumstances include but are not limited to: war, threat of war, riots, civil strife or terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disasters, fire, airport closures, bad weather conditions, interruption or failure of a utility service or the acts of any local or national government. Almeriastay.com reserves the right to change these conditions from time to time.
